Documentary, “The Brainwashing of My Dad”- April 7, 2017

On Thursday April 7th at 7pm please join us for the documentary, “The Brainwashing of my Dad.”  Ever wonder how we ended up with Donald Trump as President?  When filmmaker Jen Senko traces the transformation of her father from a non-political life-long Democrat to an angry right-wing fanatic, she discovers that her father is part of a much broader demographic.  “Brainwashing” unravels the deliberate shift of the country to the Right, largely through media manipulation, and shines a light on how it happened, who owns the airwaves, what rights we have as consumers, and what responsibility our government has to keep the airwaves fair, accurate, and accountable to the truth.  Join us for a great film presentation, followed by Q&A with the filmmaker herself.  Free. Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington (109 Browns Rd, Huntington, NY 11743) Presented by LI Media Task Force, and UUCCN.
