The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook (UUFSB) offers an eight-session Bereavement Support Group from 7-8:30 pm beginning on Monday, November 18 and continuing weekly until January 6, 2020. The Bereavement Support Group will meet at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 380 Nicolls Road in East Setauket.  The Group will be led by the Rev. Dr. Linda Anderson, Community Minister in affiliation with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.  There is no charge for the group and it is open to all. Registration is required.  The group will have no more than eight people and will close after the second session. This group is designed to offer support and comfort to people of all faiths and no faith. The death of a loved one is considered to be one of the greatest stressors in life and it can take months or even years to regain balance.  Grieving people can often benefit from sharing their feelings in a safe environment with people who are not necessarily family or close friends. For further information about the Bereavement Support Group and to register for the group beginning on November 18, please call 631-751-0297.
