At the end of January 2020, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC), the human rights arm of our denomination, will visit with First and Indigenous Peoples in the Louisiana Gulf area to address climate-forced displacement and the environmental justice impact of the local extractive industries on area tribes.  Maria Pignataro Nielsen, a member of the UUSC Board of Directors, will take part in that visit and invites all UUFHers to communicate with her before the trip, on issues they would like raised, or after the trip, for a debrief.
