What is small group ministry?

“Small group ministry is intentional, lay-led small groups that deepen and expand the ministry of a congregation. Two key focuses are intimacy, or building community and deepening relationships, and ultimacy, or the opportunity for deeper spiritual exploration and search for meaning.” [source- UUA website]

Touchstones and Wellspring groups are currently seeking people interested in joining groups for the Fall.

Touchstones meets monthly to discuss themes such as Respect, Acceptance, Generosity and Care of the Soul. Brief readings are emailed in advance. Discussions enable us to build our own theology by looking at how to align our actions with our UU values. For more information, contact Carol Towne @ litowneny@gmail.com.

Wellspring meets 2x/month to discuss topics such as Reimagining God, UUism and the Crisis of Life and The Theology of Joy. Readings and video links are sent in advance with questions  to respond to (often in a journal.) For information about Wellspring, contact Shelley Lauer-Bader @ michele.lauer.bader@gmail.com.

You can also go to uuwellspring.org and/or touchstonesproject.com/ for more information.
