The people in the photos on our table this Sunday fed each other, buried each other, and got through years as strange as this one, and the earth that grew their food is still growing ours. Some powerful people have been saying that empathy is a weakness and diversity isn’t a strength. We believe the exact opposite, and two days before an election, we remember why.

You’re invited to bring a photo or item to remember a beloved ancestor for the table. They don’t have to be biological family or human.
