Welcome from our Minister

Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington!
Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington!

Our mission is to help nurture people’s spirits, create a beloved community, and help heal our hurting world.  We invite you to explore our website to find out more about us and hope you will join us for worship on a Sunday soon, either in person or online. You are welcome here!

Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Huntington! We’re glad you are interested in learning more about our congregation.

We welcome people of any age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, race, ethnicity, ability, family, or culture. We welcome you if you are conservative, liberal, Democrat, Republican, Socialist or Independent. We welcome you if you are Jewish, Christian, Catholic, Buddhist, Hindi, Muslim, or Sikh – or if you are spiritual but not religious. We teach that we do not have to think alike or pray alike to love, worship, and work for justice together.

UUFH is a midsize, growing congregation that is committed to deepening our spirituality, developing a beloved, welcoming, inclusive community, and promoting justice in the world. We celebrate religious freedom, religious pluralism, and the individual search for truth and meaning. We seek to be anti-racist and resist oppression in all forms: sexism, racism, white supremacy, xenophobia, heterosexism, and transphobia. We yearn for a world where all people are cherished and loved.

We welcome you to visit any Sunday morning. Our services are held at 10:30 am.

I look forward to meeting you soon. Please feel free to reach out to me for appointment or come to one of my monthly Coffee with the Minister after worship.

You are welcome and loved!

In faith,
Rev. Debra W. Haffner
Interim Minister
