Poetry can be a vehicle for encountering the unexpected. In this experiential service, we’ll read and write poetry with a focus on the unexpected. We’ll do away with jilted lovers and conquering heroes as our subjects. We’ll think about poetry as a vehicle for empathy, discovery, and community.
