Everyone brings a flower and drops it into one shared vase, and what you walk out with is a flower somebody else brought. The whole bunch of them together, all different and a little mismatched, ends up more beautiful than any single one, which is more or less why we do it. If you don’t have a flower, come anyway and take one from the extras. You don’t need to prepare or believe anything to be part of it.
