The country has spent this year arguing over who gets to be part of We the People, and the people in charge would like it to be a short list. In Minneapolis, in Los Angeles, and here in Huntington, neighbors were told to be afraid of the family down the block, and by and large they didn’t go along with it. This Sunday is about them, and about who you mean when you say we. You don’t need to know anybody here to be part of it.
