On our 250th birthday year, someone of whom our nation can be justly proud is this country’s Black Poet Laureate of the twentieth century, Langston Hughes. Hughes loved to create and recite his poetry to a jazz background. Guest Speaker, Rev. Ben Bortin returns to our pulpit with music by Isabella Johnson.
